Plaster with colored quartz aggregate. One Valley company prices quartz at $6,500–$12,000 for an average backyard pool and says quartz lasts 10 to 15 years (Swimming Pool Service & Repair, company claim).
22 companies in the Phoenix directory say on their own site that they offer this finish. That is what the company says; we have not inspected their work.
How the score works (0–100): 75 points from a Bayesian-weighted Google rating, up to 15 from years in business, up to 10 from finish breadth. The weighted rating = (reviews × rating + 20 × 4.3) / (reviews + 20), so a 5.0 from 3 reviews doesn't outrank a 4.8 from 300. Companies whose rating we could not verify get the 4.3 prior. No company paid for its rank. Full methodology.
